Tyler Black, now better known as Seth Rollins, debuted on what is arguably the greatest UWA show in history, ‘Hour of the Dragon’. What I saw in Seth Rollins I hadn’t seen in a wrestler for a long time, which was a sensitivity towards professional wrestling that few have.

During his stay in UWA Hardcore, fans didn’t see what I saw in him. His matches were always passionate. I could feel that he wanted it. He drove through seven states to work our events. He would say to me, “I’m not here for the money. I’m here because this is where I will launch my career.” And he did.

Maybe this time around Ontario fans will look at him with fresh eyes, and see the champion that he became. There is no arguing with me on Seth Rollins anymore. He did it.

LIONEL KNIGHT vs. ALEX SHELLEY

Any UWA fan that came to shows during this time knows how historic this match really is. Many doors opened from this point. Re-listen to the final promos and remind yourself what took place years later. If you are a fan who loves the art of professional wrestling psychology, we strongly recommend purchasing this match.

CHEECH vs. CLOUDY

Respect must be given to anyone who physically gives it to the point of puking, as Cloudy did several times in this match. Both Cheech and Cloudy are professional wrestlers who are able to distort reality with their super-human physical abilities. There is nothing fake about this match. You don’t win this type of match, you simply persevere through it.

This historic match-up took place on May 26, 2006 at the event, ‘Echoes of War’.
