#TheUltimateWrestlingStory Teaser 1

My first trainer said to me, “My name is Ian and this is why I can train you.” He then popped a tape into my VCR and what appeared was Ian wrestling both Edge and Christian in a steel cage match. Ian then told me his WWF story, which was brief but important.

Ian continued on to tell me that he was trained by The Missing Link and Whipper Watson Jr. To most wrestling fans, both of these names are a part of history. I was recently reminded of the Watson legacy when I was waiting at the hospital in an area named after Whipper Watson.

Back then, verbal communication was still considered normal, and Ian’s wrestling psychology lessons would last for hours. I remember him saying to me over and over again, “Brother, the wrestling business is degenerate and you need to prepare for it.” In all honesty, the stories he would tell me were hard to believe.

It was also around that time that shoot interviews had just come out. I believe the first shoot I saw was Raven, produced by RFVideo. My friends at that time couldn’t stop talking about who had the craziest wrestling story. They cared more about the ‘real’ story than the ‘fake’ story. Either way, it wasn’t long before I realized that Ian seemed legitimate, since what he was saying corresponded with what guys like Raven were saying about the wrestling industry.

So one day, after giving wrestling intense thought, I had a strong vision in my mind and a long term plan came to me. It was simply me telling my friends my true wrestling story.

Ian repeatedly warned me to never ‘become wrestling’, so I didn’t; why would you want to become a degenerate anyway? And, over the years, when people thought they were working me, I would think to myself, ‘how dumb do they think I am?’, but I just went with it for the sake of the story.

So, to those people, this is my message to you:

You’ve ‘got over’ by lying about me for years. Now it’s time for me to tell the truth about you.

Coming in 2016
